Join us for competitive, yet family-friendly Run/Walk designed to raise money for the care of breast cancer patients in treatment and their children, spouse and/or significant other. This chip-timed run features a 5K run, 5K walk and a family-friendly 1K “fun walk”. Awards presented to the top male and female runners in the competitive division.
Find your P.I.N.K. (Power Inside Not Known) as we join together to raise funds for families fighting breast cancer and honor the life of a courageous young inflammatory breast cancer fighter, Talika Dennis-Carter. This 5K run/walk will raise funds to send hope to families fighting this awful disease. The proceeds will create funds necessary to pay for educational books to help the children understand Mom’s battle, as well as pay for prepared meal delivery and housekeeping to ease mom’s burden. The remaining funds will be used to provide childcare and transportation assistance to ensure that all women have equal access to care and as an added benefit we provide a unique outreach program for the husband or significant other to help him make sense of his loved ones challenge.
